Escape from Tarkov is not a game for the faint-hearted. This is a harsh survival trial where you need to stay alert every single second. The battles are really hardcore: a couple of hits are enough to send the enemy to the other world. Recoil during a shot and modeling ballistics forces you to shoot in short bursts, preferably from a sitting or lying position. There is practically no “zoom”, so taking out an opponent won’t go lightly. Sometimes it makes sense to fire not at the enemy, but at the cover they’re hiding behind, hoping that a bullet will hit the target. Quite realistic!
The sounds deserve a special mention. It is not just good – it is magnificent. The juicy sounds of gunfire, the ringing of shells on the floor, the loud thundering while running, the curses of the wounded animals – everything is done with very high quality, just like in real life. The bandits yell obscenely and the weapon shoots really loudly, without any pity for the ears. It works great both for creating the atmosphere and for the gameplay. In the vast majority of cases, you’ll hear the enemy much earlier than you will actually see them.
Escape from Tarkov can’t be called a casual game for sure. In addition to the rather complicated implementation of shooting, nighttime raids can be cited as an example. At night, in fact, nothing is visible here, you won’t be helped even by a night vision device, which, as in real life, provides visibility that is far from the best. Surviving in Tarkov is a real challenge. Luckily, there is an unblocked version that can give you immediate access to all the weapons you need. Of course, you’ll have to back it up with some solid skills and tactical thinking. Are you up for it?
